 London Trip

Travelling is a chance to break off the daily routine. In addition, one gains some knowledge and experience of different cultures and places. The visit to London, one of the biggest cities in Europe, provided us with some lessons. Among these lessons is team-working; someone arranged a suitable accomadation, another laid out the trip schedule, etc. Also, it is clear that all try to do their best for the others; like changing some of the outlines of the program to fulfil the majority's desire. On the other hand, although the children accompanied us there was no program for them, it was simply a trip for adults.

The main lesson is that London is great but one cannot help comparing it to Cairo. During summer, around twelve millions visit London. How many visit Cairo? The only way to encourage tourism is to put the smile of satisfaction on every face, which is not impossible.

Travel( VIENNA)

For more than six centuries the Habsburger Empire, that often covered most of central Europe, was governed from the Hofburg Palace in Vienna. Today the city often seems too grand to be the capital of a relatively small country like Austria.
The compact historical centre with the Gothic Stephansdom and the gardens of the Heldenplatz, is surrounded by the 19th century neo-style extravagant monuments of the Ringstrasse: the Opera, the Parliament, the Twin Museums and Karlsplatz.
Around the centre the Baroque Imperial palaces and gardens like Schšnbrunn and the Belvedere are now public parks and museums.
Vienna offers the best in all architectural styles: Baroque, Rococo, neo-Classisism, Jugendstil and early Modernism by Adolf Loos ('decoration is crime') who shocked the ornate city with his designs.
Vienna, or Wien, has been home to Mozart, Johann Strauss, Gustav Klimt, Sigmund Freud, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Adolf Hitler. It is one of the few European cities with a constantly decreasing population, which is only partly explained by its having the second highest suicide rate in the world (just after Budapest).

Iread4U(Eclipse99)

As the moon nibbles away at the Sun a shadow will fall across Britain. Just before it swallows it whole-the point of total eclipse- swirling patterns of light and dark will rush over the ground and make us feel as if the earth is shaking. The sky will turn from blue to black and stars will appear. As day becomes night the temperature will drop, birds will stop singing and for two spooky minutes our world will be unrecognizable, awesome place.

Today scientists are able to explain why eclipses happen. The Moon is able to fit perfectly over the Sun because while the Sun is 400 times its size, it is also exactly 400 times further away. If the Moon was a different size or distance away the effect will be less dramatic when it passed between the Sun and the Earth.
